Yangdong Village to Oksan Seowon: A Confucian Footpath Walk

The Walk Nobody Talks About in Gyeongju 🚐 Want to walk this trail with a private driver? Off Map Korea drives small groups (2-6) to Korea's hidden paths. From ₩280,000/day · See packages → Everyone who visits Gyeongju goes to Bulguksa and the royal tumuli. The Ryu clan settled this loop of water in the early Joseon period and never left. Their descendants still live here today, inside a UNESCO World Heritage site. Most visitors spend an hour walking the dirt lanes, peek at a thatched roof or two, and leave. That is a genuine waste. The full Hahoe experience involves the village lanes and the Buyongdae cliff walk on the opposite bank, timed if possible to catch the Hahoe Byeolsingut Talnori mask dance. This guide cover...
