Outdoor Activity Risk

Hiking, trekking, and mountain travel in Korea involve risk. Weather changes quickly, trails can be steep, surfaces can be slippery on granite faces, and emergency services may take time to reach remote areas. The information on this blog is shared in good faith but is not a substitute for personal judgment, current trail conditions, or a qualified mountain rescue professional. You are responsible for your own safety. If you are unsure, do not go.

Accuracy of Information

I write from direct experience, but conditions change. Bus routes are revised, stations are renamed, restaurants close, trails are rerouted after typhoons, and weather varies day to day. I do my best to keep posts accurate and update them when I notice changes, but I cannot guarantee that every detail is current at the moment you read it. Always cross-check time-sensitive details such as transportation, opening hours, and weather before you go.

Not Professional Advice

Posts on this site are personal opinions and observations, not medical, legal, financial, or professional safety advice. If you have a medical condition, an injury, or specific concerns about your fitness for a particular trail, consult a qualified professional before attempting the route.
